The Novotel Budapest is four-star business hotel and conference centre and a venue with facilities and services for both, the business and leisure markets.

Location

The hotel is located on the ‘Buda’ side of the river In the city, close to the Castle District and the Citadel that looks down to the city centre.

The city’s main train terminal is 5 minutes away by taxi

For delegates driving the M7 motorway is 15 minutes away and the hotel provides guests 170 parking spaces with an additional 140 spaces managed externally. For group travel, coach bay can be reserved.

Design

The 9-storey building is of a mainly sandy brick and glass construction without any historic features Internally the design style follows the Novotel brand standards, with a simple, unfussy interior that is best described as business functional.

Meeting Space

With 20 multifunctional rooms which can accommodate meetings up to 2000 in theatre style and dinners to 850. There is a dedicated and private entrance to the meeting space.

Bedrooms

The hotels 319 bedrooms are spread across all 9 floors, with 248 standard rooms, 24 superior, 17 executive, 4 suites, 1 accessible. Amenities include complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, free WiFi, TV, safe, business desk

Restaurant

The hotels Arcade restaurant seats 180 and serves Hungarian and international cuisine and can be privatised on request although for dinner meetings, a meeting room is recommended.

Other public spaces include the Novo2 Bar, Amy Bar Terrace, and Coté Jardin

Experience

The hotel regularly hosts healthcare meetings, from small internal and external meetings to large medical conferences.

Fitness

In the same building, guests have access to a fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines.

There is an internal swimming pool, a private sun terrace, salt cabin and sauna, managed by the hotel.

The hotel is located near but not next to the Castle District and the city’s ‘downtown’ is 20 minutes away so should not provide any distractions for HCP meetings held here.

The hotel’s website states that they have a spa but this is not advertised with language to entice leisure guests and is limited to a sauna and pool, and paid spa treatments are only available if prebooked.
