General Overview

Park Plaza Leeds is a four-star hotel located in the centre of Leeds providing 12 meeting rooms on three floors to a maximum of 250 and is supported by 187 bedrooms.

Location:

The hotel is 100 meters from Leeds Mainline Railway Station which connects the city to London’s Euston station in 2 hours and 30 minutes. The station also connects the hotel to Leeds Bradford airport within an hour and 90 minutes from Manchester Airport. There is no on-site parking with the nearest being at Sovereign Square, a 5-minute walk away.

Design:

Park Plaza Leeds is a contemporary 20-floor, high-rise building, and styling throughout the hotel is modern and contemporary without any touches that would be considered luxurious or deluxe. 

Bedrooms:

Bedroom floors are from the 4th to the 20th floors and of 187 contemporary bedrooms, 131 are in the Superior category which is the hotel's “standard” category.

Restaurant:

The Chino Latino restaurant on the hotel’s first floor accommodates 160 – 170 and is the location for guest buffet breakfast, and a Pan-Asian a la carte lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open but is not a ‘show’ kitchen that provides demonstrations as an inducement to eat here. It can be privatised for healthcare meetings and access is by the guest lift but does not have a dedicated external public entrance.

Meeting rooms:

Park Plaza Leeds has a total of 12 meeting rooms with City View on the first floor, Park Suites 1- 5 on floor 2, and Plaza Suites 1- 6 on floor 3. All rooms have natural daylight and overlook the city square. Each floor can easily be privatised to provide the confidentiality required for healthcare meetings.

Park and Plaza Suites 1 and 2 provide the plenary and catering room ideal for advisory board meetings. Park Suites 3-5 and Plaza Suites 3-6 both offer space to a maximum of 200 in theatre style which is ideal for sales conferences and training meetings.

Suites can be converted to provide additional syndicate space but due to their city views, these rooms should not be used as boardrooms in isolation for Advisory Board or other similar key opinion meetings.

Experience:

Due to its central Leeds location and strong transport links, the hotel is used for NHS meetings and healthcare companies including medical device companies, for sales conferences, and training meetings.

Fitness:

The hotel provides guests with a gym equipped with both cardiovascular equipment and weight-resistance machines. There is no pool and spa treatments are not available.

Park Plaza Leeds occupies a prime city centre location opposite the main railway station, and within close proximity to city tourist sites such as the Trinity centre, a well-known and impressive shopping, and leisure mall

Within the hotel, Chino Latino is a Park Plaza restaurant and bar brand and markets itself as Award-winning but these are typically regional awards that would be less recognised nationally and not internationally.
