The Dorint Cologne Messe hotel is a 4-star with a focus on business events with some facilities to attract the weekend leisure business.

Located next to the exhibition center “Köln Messe” away from downtown city center. And surrounded by commercial buildings and offices.

The mainline and metro stations on Koln Messe Deutz are within a short walk away which provides a direct route to the airport in 38 minutes. A taxi would take 12 minutes.

For delegates driving the hotel offers 100 underground spaces but is chargeable.

Coach parking is available locally but not managed by the hotel.

Design

The hotel is modern and contemporary with a mainly brick and green panel exterior.

This style and theme is continued internally.

Meeting Space

5 versatile meeting rooms are provided across the ground and first floors. On the ground floors is the Berlin room which accommodates 450 in theatre style but can be divided into 3 rooms.

On the first floor are the London, Brussels and Paris rooms. All can be split into smaller breakout or workshop rooms. The London and Paris has a central foyer which, when opened can offering a combined space to host theatre style meetings for 450.

The is no dedicated entrance to the meeting areas and access is via public spaces and lifts.

Bedrooms

The hotel offers 312 bedrooms in 6 categories plus one presidential suite. Rooms come with a work desk, complimentary WiFi, safe, coffee and tea station. Mini fridges are offered empty in all rooms, Nespresso machines can be removed on request.

Restaurant

The hotel’s two main restaurants are on the ground floor Restaurant Düx and Restaurant Bell’Arte, and serves International and German food. They can accommodate 140 at Restaurant Düx, 220 at restaurant Bell’Arte and either can be privatsed on request however, for dinner meetings, a meeting room is recommended.

The Bar Accanto is also available for light bites and bar food.

Experience

The hotel has experience in hosting meetings from the healthcare sector, both internal and HCP external meetings.

Fitness

The hotel offers guests their “Vital Spa’ with a fitness gym in the basement with weights and exercise machines. A pool, sauna and steam bath is also available.

The hotel is located away from the historic downtown are surrounded by commercial business.
