General Overview

The Steigenberger Herrenhof in Vienna is hotel with a mix of facilities for the leisure market and meetings and events which forms a significant part of the hotels business offering.

Location

The hotel is located in the city centre, in the 1st district and its central location provides easy access to public transportation, and leisure and tourist areas.

Vienna International Airport is 20 minutes by car or taxi or 32 minutes by public transport, and Central station is 18 minutes away by taxi.

For those delegates driving, the hotel offers parking spaces in a private garage under the hotel building.

Design

The hotel is housed in a building that dates back to 1913, with a facade that reflects the architectural style from Baroque to Art Deco. The exterior combines classic elements with subtle modern touches, featuring traditional brick, large windows and a welcoming entrance.

Viennese Atelier Einwaller designed the rooms and other parts of the hotel with contemporary interpretations of various styles from Baroque to Art Deco, drawing inspiration from the 21st century.

Meeting Space

All meeting spaces are located on the 1. Floor with the largest able to accommodate 220 in theatre style.

The meeting room capacities provide the flexibility to host various types of internal and external meeting, with 8 different rooms available in varying sizes. Some rooms can be combined or adjusted in size, allowing bookers to tailor the space according to the specific needs of the meeting.

Bedrooms

The hotels 196 bedrooms are split across 7 bedroom floors and come with , WC, bathtub or shower, bedside power socket, work desk, seating area, TV, slippers, bathrobe, mini fridge, telephone, ironing facilities, coffee and tea maker, complimentary toiletries, iron, hairdryer, extra-long beds (over 2 meters), laptop safe.

Bathrobes and Nespresso can be removed on request.

Restaurant

The ground floor Restaurant Bela Bela is the hotel’s main restaurant offering a refined dining experience with a menu that combines Austrian and international cuisine. The setting is elegant, with a focus on providing a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. For larger groups of 100 or more, the entire restaurant can be reserved privately.

The Herrenhof Bar provides a cozy and stylish environment suitable for both casual and business gatherings for up to 60 people.

The shared Meeting Foyer provides a space for a standing buffet for up to 60 participants.

For a standing Lunch for up to 180 participants the Torberg+Kafka+Loos+Werfel can be offered if there is no meeting required in the room.

Experience

The hotel has experience in hosting Advisory boards, Training sessions and medical conferences.

Fitness

The hotel has a fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines.

The hotel’s wellness area spans 250 m² across two floors and includes two saunas. For massage inquiries, the hotel works with an external company.

Although the hotel is NOT star rated, it’s facilities can be aligned to similar hotels that might be considered as rated 4-star.

Béla Béla can be used for fine dining experiences but it offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it suitable for business lunches and dinners

The tourist areas and sights are close but not overlooked by the hotel.

Historic is used to describe both the exterior and interior design but is in keeping with other buildings within Vienna’s city centre.
