General Overview

Crowne Plaza Milan Linate is a business hotel with 436 non-smoking bedrooms, a large conference centre with 14 meeting rooms with natural daylight for up to 330 people, and the ExpoPlaza, a 2,300 square meters exhibition area that can host up to 1,100 people.

Location

The property sits just outside Exit 1 of Milan’s east ring road. 7 km from Milan Linate Airport (LIN) 15’ away with the hotel's shuttle bus (charges apply), 45 km from Bergamo Airport (BGY), and 70 km from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Connections to/from the airports are available with either public or private transportation. The Milan Rogoredo train and metro station are 3 km from the hotel. High-speed trains are available to/from all major Italian cities. For delegates driving the hotel has private parking for up to 130 cars.

Design

The hotel is a thirteen-floor airport hotel and has large public areas with floor-to-ceiling windows. The lobby and bar are decorated with modern furniture with a neutral colour scheme.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms are divided into 182 Standard rooms, 149 Superior rooms, 55 Deluxe rooms, 24 Family rooms, and 26 Suites. Superior rooms can be used for HCPs if the added amenities are removed. All rooms are equipped with a working desk, free Wi-Fi, an iron board (on request), and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Restaurant

The hotel has two restaurants. The Italian Il Giardino a-la-carte restaurant is open Mon-Thu for dinner for up to 50 people, and can be privatized;

The Il Buongustaio, is a 150-seat buffet restaurant, serving Italian/International cuisine, opened 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and has separate areas to accommodate groups and can be privatized.

Meeting Space

The hotel has a total of 14 meeting rooms across the basement, ground, and 1st floors and a private entrance to the Expo Plaza. The basement holds 8 rooms, able to accommodate from 15 up to 300 delegates, 6 with natural daylight. On the ground floor is the Volta room, with a capacity of up to 330 people, a wooden floor and ceiling, suitable to host meetings, exhibitions, and gala dinners.

Directly connected to the hotel on the ground floor are ExpoPlaza, the 2,300 square meters multifunctional space with a maximum height of 10 meters, a parterre able to accommodate up to 1,100 people, and a private loading and unloading bay with direct access from the parking beside the hotel. It can be divided into three areas and is equipped with a moveable stage (4X8 meters), 4 fixed trusses up to 100 kg, and chairs. On the 1st floor, there are 5 rooms to accommodate from 6  to 12 delegates, all with natural daylight, one of which has a boardroom setup with an oval table for 10 people.

Experience

The hotel hosted meeting companies such as Merck, Pfizer, Novartis, Gruppo San Donato, and others, with both internal and external meetings, workshops, training with direct streaming from the operation room, and more.

The hotel is situated 2 km from Policlinico San Donato, 3 km from Monzino Hospital (an Excellence in Cardiology), and 9 km from San Raffaele Hospital, with the Faculty of Psychology, Medicine and Surgery. San Raffaele is a European Excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. The hotel is 10 km from the MiCo, congress center, and location for global medical conferences.

Fitness

The hotel provides guests with an onsite Fitness Center with free weights and machines and is on the 13th floor.

Although a 4-star hotel, external travel websites use luxury in their descriptions however, this can be considered as an authentic business hotel.

Google review shows the hotel as having a sauna. This is incorrect as the hotel only has a fitness room but there is no pool and spa treatments are not available.
