The Empire Riverside Hotel offers a significant number of business rooms and a flexible conference area with several meeting rooms for business events of different sizes.

Location

The hotel is located near the harbor area, 1.5 km from Hamburg's city center. The main train station and exhibition hall are 2.5 km away. The airport of Hamburg is located 12 km away, and is reachable in 30 minutes by direct train. Public transportation stops, bus, metro, and train starts is a few meters away. For guests arriving by car, a public underground car parking space is available below the hotel, with direct access to the hotel lobby by elevator.

Design

The design of the Empire Riverside Hotel is modern and contemporary with glass fronts across its 20 floors. This style is continued inside and can be considered as business executive.  

Meeting Space

The conference area of the Empire Riverside Hotel offers a total of 1,200 sqm divided into eight rooms split across the second and third floors. Exclusive and private use can be offered when using one floor or the entire conference area, as it can be perfectly separated from the rest of the hotel. Natural light floods the entire area through floor-to-ceiling windows. The design matches the overall concept of the Empire Riverside Hotel with a clean and contemporary interior that is suitable for business events.

Bedrooms:

327 rooms continue the contemporary design and are at least 25 sqm, and equipped with air conditioning, minibar, desk and Wi-Fi, and functional bathrooms.

Restaurant

The 115-seat restaurant is located on the first floor and is used for breakfast and dinner, with space for small and larger groups. The design follows that of the hotel with a modern style.

Fitness

A small fitness gym with modern equipment is available to guests. The fitness area also includes a sauna and a steam bath. The hotel does not have a pool and the fitness area is not the main focus of the hotel.

Experience

The hotel is healthcare sector aware and supports a wide range of meetings and conferences such as advisory boards, investigator meetings, medical training events or sales meetings.

The harbor area near the hotel includes e.g. pleasure boats or restaurants, and the industrial part of the harbor can also be seen from the higher floors of the hotel.

The conference area is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and views over the area are limited, however, the higher the floor the better the view. Therefore, bedrooms on higher floors (up to 20th floor) would have rooms with views.

The hotel's skyline bar is on the 20th floor, so it is not close to the conference area that is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Views of Hamburg are available however, the bar would not be included in any proposals for HCP meetings.
