General Overview
The Clarion Congress Hotel Prague is a 4-star business and meeting hotel that offers a dedicated entrance and a range of rooms for meetings and events utilising 27 meeting and event spaces including 3 large meeting rooms. Due to a large number of standard rooms, in our opinion, Clarion Congress Hotel lends itself well to healthcare sector residential meetings.
Location:
The Clarion Congress Hotel is located in Vysocany, Prague 9, a commercial and residential suburb to the east of the city.
The Vysocanská metro station is beside the hotel and connects to Vaclav Havel International Airport and the central Florenc bus station.
The E55 highway is close and connects Prague to Brno or Vienna via the D1 highway and for drivers, there are 600 parking spaces and 9 for coaches on the property.
Design:
The architecture of the hotel is modern and does not reflect the typical Czech heritage of gabled buildings, but that of a modern building which fits well with the other buildings in this business and residential district.
Bedrooms:
The hotel has a total of 534 Standard and Executive en-suite guest bedrooms and 25 deluxe suites, plus 8 handicapped rooms. The decor of the bedrooms is similar for each category with modern executive furniture.
All rooms are equipped with business amenities such as a mini-bar, in-room laptop safe, hair dryer, ironing set, tea/coffee set, direct-dial phone, LCD satellite TV, and free wired Internet access.
The executive rooms are slightly larger in size and have additional amenities, although these can be removed and, in our opinion, the rooms considered for HCPs.
Meetings:
There are 27 halls and meeting rooms, and can accommodate any meeting size from an advisory board for 8 to a sales conference for 1500.
On the conference level, the largest rooms Meridian + Zenit + Nadir can accommodate up to 1500 people theatre style in total.
The variable character of the rooms and an 8 metres high mobile ceiling make it possible to adjust the hall to the size and character of the event, including television broadcasts. There is also an opportunity to set a car in the congress centre. The contiguous spacious foyer is perfect for exhibitions and additional programmes.
Due to the layout of meeting areas on one floor, these meeting rooms are appropriate for meetings in the Healthcare sector and provide an intimate feel away from public view.
For additional meeting spaces in boardroom style, 8 bedroom suites of the Hotel can be used and equipped for an informal private meeting. The average capacity of the Conference Suite is up to 15 people. Several Suites also offer a separate entrance to the meeting room, ensuring a maximum level of comfort and privacy for the guest.
Restaurant:
With natural daylight and a modern interior, the Veduta Brasserie has a capacity for 570 seats and is the location for guest buffet breakfast and lunch.
Restaurant Pizza & Café with 112 seats located on the first floor is open all day and specialises in Italian cuisine. The restaurant offers the flexibility to accommodate groups for lunch and dinner.
On the ground floor, the Benada Lounge has a stylish interior with functionalist architecture and easy access making it an ideal location for business lunches for up to 80.
Experience:
With the central European destination of Prague, and the hotels’ location and ease of access, the Clarion Congress Hotel is ideally positioned for local, national and international meetings and has experience in hosting both internal staff and external HCP meeting types including congresses.
Fitness:
The I'M FIT Wellness Fitness includes a small swimming pool, sauna, gym, whirlpool and 2 treatment rooms.
Guests have access to the hotel's fitness and wellness facilities and have their own private entrance which is not visible from any of the other public and private areas and realistically can be considered to be in its own enclosed space.
