General Overview

The Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage is located in the centre of the city and is a multipurpose venue with a significant amount of meeting and event space.
 

Location

Located in the centre of Amsterdam the venue is a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam’s Central Train Station that has regular trains to Schiphol International Airport. By taxi the airport is within 30 minutes. By car, you can reach the Beurs van Berlage within 10 minutes from the A10 Motorway, and, for those driving, 3000 car park spaces are within a ten-minute walk.

Originally built and designed as an exchange in 1903, the Beurs van Berlage has a classic design with some historic features

Meeting Space

The Beurs van Berlage is a full-service venue that can host conferences of up to 1,300 delegates and it is possible to use either the entire building or a combination of rooms. All halls include standard facilities such as staging, lectern, microphone, laptop, sound system, projector & screen, and monitor.

For additional support, the venue can supply a list of preferred suppliers specialising in audiovisual, exhibition stand builds, signage, decoration, and catering although bookers are able to provide their own.

Bedrooms

There are no bedrooms at the venue but utilise city-wide Hotel contracts to support meetings and events that do require accommodation

Experience

The Beurs van Berlage is healthcare sector aware and supports the Amsterdam Life Sciences and Health network. Amsterdam Convention Bureau has an extensive Life Sciences and Health network including world-leading universities, research centres, and companies that thrive on collaboration and sharing knowledge. The venue has hosted multiple international conferences organised by the healthcare industry including those involving HCPs, such as association/society meetings; scientific programs; training programs, and sales meetings.
 

Being centrally located, on the canals and near the train station, whilst this venue is a place for business, it is close to, but not overlooking some of Amsterdam’s tourist attractions. The venue also hosts leisure events such as concerts and cultural events.
