General Overview:

The Radisson RED is connected to Gardermoen Airport and with 214 soundproofed bedrooms and a walk to the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center with 52 meeting rooms, this is a true business and meeting hotel.

Location:

Guests can walk internally to the Airport Terminal in 10 minutes and access the Oslo Lufthavn Train Station which connects the airport to the city centre access by Flytoget Express train in 18mns. Oslo Congress Center People's House is a further 11 mins by train. Commercial trains run from Oslo Airport to Eidsvoll and Kongsberg and Intercity trains operate to the North to Oppland/Hedmark and south to Vestfold as well as to Sandefjord Airport, Torp. For delegates wishing to drive to the hotel, external parking is available.

Design

Built in 2010 and renovated in 2022, the hotel has a clear Scandinavian style, both externally with a mainly angular glass appearance continued internally, with light woods, added to light walls and flooring in public areas.

Bedrooms:

The hotel has 214 Scandinavian-styled soundproofed bedrooms including 12 Suites, all with complimentary Wi-Fi, tea, coffee-making facilities, Iron and board, safe and working area. Superior Rooms are slightly larger with an upgraded coffee machine and slippers.

Meeting Rooms:

The hotel is connected to the adjoining Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Oslo 52 meeting rooms and spaces are offered across 4 meeting floors. Ground Floor 1 consists of 13 meeting rooms, from 8 boardroom style to 220 theatre style when combining 15 and 17. Ground Floor 2 has 6 individual meeting rooms with 4 able to accommodate 54 in classroom style.

Floor 16 consists of 6 individual rooms with a maximum 22 in classroom style. Flyporten has 25 meeting rooms, from 8 boardroom style to 90 theatre when combining 41 and 42. 

Restaurant:

Guests are offered buffet breakfasts but for lunch or dinner, GAMO provides a Nordic menu. For private dinner meetings, a meeting room is required.

Fitness:

All guests have access to a fitness gym with free weights and machines. There is no pool and spa treatments are not available.

As an airport venue with a large number of bedrooms and meeting rooms, we see little in terms of brand, design, architecture or facilities to be considered a significant compliance risk.
