General Overview

Hoteles Santos Porta Fira is a 4-plus business hotel, with a conference centre, consisting of 22 meeting rooms with capacity for up to 700 guests.

Location

The hotel is located in aL'Hospitalet, a suburb of Barcelona and a business area, in front of Fira Gran Via. The train and metro station of Europa Fira is a short walk away and the airport is 10 minutes away by car or taxi.

For delegates diring, the hotel has  340 space, with 5 charging stations for electric cars. For group travel, coaches can pick up/drop off but cannot park.

Design

The hotel is a 28 floor, red modern skyscraper, inspired in a lotus flower made with red aluminium tubes.

Interior styling is modern contemporary but without any luxury touches.

Meeting Space

The hotel has 22 meeting rooms divided across 3 floors, the ground floor, mezzanine and 24th floor.

The main plenary room has capacity for up to 700 guests and has natural daylight and no columns. The other meeting rooms have capacity for between 10 guests and 100, most of them with natural daylight.

Privatisation is available on request.

Bedrooms

The hotels 321 bedrooms are spread across the 2nd to 23rd floor. Rooms come with a work desk, kettle, complimentary WIFI, toilet amenities, pillow menu.

Standard rooms include a mini fridge and can be locked on request.

Restaurant

The 130 seater Spiral is the hotels main restaurant and located on the ground floor serving creative Mediterranean lunches.. It seats 130

For private lunches and dinners a meeting room is recommended.

Experience

The hotel is popular with healthcare companies attending congress at the Gran Fira. And also hosts Annual sales conventions, product launches. The hotel also works with the local healthcare meeting marketplace.

Fitness

The hotel has a fitness gym with free weights and exercise machines.

The hotel does not have a pool and/or a spa but massages are available upon request, managed by an external company.

Fitness facilities are located on the 17th floor away from the meeting spaces.

There is no doubt that the hotels red, distinct exterior and design, is a standout amongst the Barcelona skyline. because of this, additional approvals may be required.

The hotel markets itself as a 4-star superior hotel but this is a business hotel with extensive meeting facilities and enough bedrooms to support large residential meetings.
